Yell
I'm a regular at Al Volo for over three years now and they never fail to deliver excellent Italian food. Their menu offers a wide choice of dishes (antipasti, pizzas, pastas, meats, veggie) that will satisfy any culinary whim. What's also worth mentioning, they update the menu seasonally so there is always something new and exciting to try. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone - whether you want to pop by for a quick lunch or invite friends for dinner. The average dinner cost is £25, lunch £8-10.

Toptable
lThe Truman Brewery has been dubbed “the Portobello of the new millenium”and has become the creative hub of London's east end. Surrounded by the buzz of the Spitalfields Markets and the bustle of Brick Lane, Al Volo is a hip little restaurant in the Brewery on Hanbury Street that offers wholesome Italian meals and home-made pasta. The dining room and al fresco terrace have a lovely organic feel, and the sleek design and unpretentious service make this a fantastic place for post-market snacks, creative brain-storming meetings and lazy people-watching afternoons. Don't miss the pumpkin tortelloni with smoked-ricotta, rocket pesto, pine nuts and amaretti biscuits, and the soft home-made Italian lemon cake.

When i was looking for an Italian in brick lane, the same restaurant kept cropping up "Al Volo" and now i know why. I couldn't fault anything with this place.
Situated in the corner of Ely's yard in the old Truman Brewery, it allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of brick lane with an authentic yet simple Italian menu. The service and food is excellent and when you realise how little you end up paying for such a great meal you feel yourself wanting to leave a handsome tip!
Al Volo has a modern feel and the restaurant has warm and "Nice " atmosphere.
Whether your looking for somewhere to start or end your night , or are looking for some where to go with friends or loved ones, i would recommend trying here.

London Eating
Al volo is the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at in London so far. It's reasonably priced and the food is to die for! I highly recommend the fresh pasta, the polenta and foccacia al formaggio, the chocolate cake and tiramisu were the perfect finish to a very big meal! Service was also great, our waiter was very attentive and polite, which is rare in London...

Tipped
went there a couple of times with some friends and quite enjoyed it. You certainly won't get such thin and crispy pizza base anywhere in the area. All of this Strada and Pizza Express stuff doesn't measure up. Friendly staff and modern interior add up to the overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend it.

Trusted Places
love the food, the atmosphere and ... the Aperitivo. Informal but very friendly service, I have been a regular for almost 2 years and I strongly recommend it.
